One of our recent projects at JFW Cabinetmakers Ltd (jfw-cabinet.com) was to manufacture and install fitted furniture at Kingsley Healthcare, Kings Court Nursing Home in Holt, Norfolk. We worked closely with HomeSmiths Ltd, who designed the furniture to suit the needs and preferences of the residents and staff. We produced a large range of furniture for this project, which kept us extremely busy up to Christmas, but for now I’d like to focus on the library unit.

The library unit was a bespoke piece of furniture that we created using MDF laminated with Egger Natural Halifax Oak, a very durable and elegant material that contrasts the decor of the room. The unit has push release doors that open to reveal spacious storage various items. The central aperture of the unit is illuminated with LED lights, creating a focal point and a cozy atmosphere. The unit was fitted into the room with precision and care, and we applied coving to make it blend seamlessly with the walls and ceiling. The result is a stunning library unit that enhances the functionality and aesthetics of the room.
