“You don’t do that do you?” Words I often hear, usually from clients when we’ve been awarded part of a project. I’d get a call sometimes saying that someone has let them down or they have a requirement for a specialist item. It usually goes a little something like this:
“Hi Adam, Someone has let us down on the decorative feature wall panels, you don’t do that do you?”
“Afternoon, we’re struggling to get a cost for a small stainless‑steel top, it’s too small for the catering equipment company, you don’t do those do you?”
And just the once:
“You don’t do bookcases do you!?” (insert unimpressed expression here……)
The feature photos to this blog started out in a similar way…. The client thought that it was a bit of a luxury item and the budget wouldn’t stretch to it, I was asked “you wouldn’t be able to do something like this within the budget would you?” I offered to put a costing together that would hopefully come within their budget, which it did, and here we are, ready to install next week! I guess I’ll tell you more after the fit!
