Christmas is a wonderful time of year, I’ve always loved it, especially now I have a one year old daughter who shares my enthusiasm for multicoloured fairy lights. I also draw my enthusiasm from the time off, it’s no secret that I love time off and it is the main drive in my working life. The best part about the time off at Christmas is that everyone else has time off at Christmas, well the people in our industry anyway….. So I apologise if you have to work.
It’s that perfect time for me to truly switch off and be present with my family and friends, knowing that nothing is going on anywhere that may potentially need my attention or cause my phone to ring allows me to recharge my batteries ready to attack the new year with gusto.
This feeling comes at a cost though, that Christmas rush. “WE NEED IT BEFORE CHRISTMAS!” I get it, it’s the perfect deadline if you think about it. The end of the year, get everything squared off, ticked off, fitted, finished and invoiced for Christmas and we shall drink and be merry in celebration. So we take it seriously and meet your deadlines, like we do all year round! We will pull out all the stops to make it happen for you so there is no need to stress.
The run up to Christmas last year was nothing short of MANIC. Getting everything ready for Kings Court Care Home in Holt kept us focused and once we had wrapped up on the last item of furniture we were able to relax and enjoy the break. This year is slightly different, we have the rush and the deadlines, but they are spread across 5 projects, we are on track to complete on time in order to enjoy our hard earned time off!
The lads have worked extremely hard this year to deliver all they have and I wish to thank them for their unwavering professionalism, quality and loyal support to JFW Ltd.
We have one more week to go, I hope you all have a nice smooth one and manage to wind down a little and enjoy the season.
