John F. White Ltd Cabinetmakers recently completed a full shop refit for Ben’s Cookies at their new location at Coventry Street, London. The project involved the manufacture and installation of a range of bespoke shop fit items and shop furniture, creating a practical and visually appealing retail environment for this well-known cookie brand. Working closely with the talented team at Ben’s Cookies, John F. White Ltd Cabinetmakers delivered a complete fit-out solution, transforming the premises into a fully operational bakery and retail space designed to support both production and customer service.
The project began with the careful strip-out of the existing fittings, allowing us to prepare the premises for its transformation into a fresh Ben’s Cookies store. At the heart of the installation is a newly constructed rolling area, designed specifically for the preparation of the fresh cookie dough before it goes into the oven. This area features bespoke cupboard units topped with stainless steel work surfaces and moulded sinks, providing a hygienic and durable workspace suited to the demands of a busy bakery environment.
The new front-of-house shop counter was designed to combine practicality with customer interaction. The counter incorporates a glazed sneeze screen, a metal cookie display, and a counter gate and flap to allow staff easy access between service and preparation areas. Above the counter we installed a purpose-built bulkhead with integrated digital menu screens, creating a clean and modern focal point for the shop interior.
Additional elements of the project included a discreet alcove display unit, bespoke back-of-house cupboard units, and the installation of new shop signage, helping the store stand out on this busy central London street.
Alongside the cabinetry and furniture installation, our team also delivered associated plumbing works, flooring installation, and wall tiling, allowing JFW Ltd to manage the project seamlessly from concept through to completion.
