JFW Cabinetmakers Ltd is proud to showcase a recent project for Kingsley Healthcare at their Kings Court Care Home in Holt, Norfolk. This project allowed us to demonstrate our expertise in crafting bespoke fitted furniture that not only serves a functional purpose but also enhances the aesthetic appeal of the space. Working in close partnership with the talented team at HomeSmiths Ltd, who designed the furniture, we were able to bring their vision to life with precision and flair.
The centrepiece of our work was the reception desk, a testament to our commitment to excellence and innovation. The desk’s unique form was achieved using ply formers, a technique that ensures durability and stability while allowing for creative freedom in design. The formers were then meticulously clad and laminated with high-pressure laminate, chosen for its resilience and sleek finish. The work surfaces of the desk were crafted from Durasein solid surface, renowned for its seamless appearance and ease of maintenance.
But the true highlight of our creation was the illuminated decorative aluminium fret cut panels. These panels, with their intricate designs, cast a warm and inviting glow, welcoming residents and visitors alike. The panels were not only a striking feature of the desk itself but were also echoed in matching wall features, creating a cohesive and immersive experience.
