Bespoke reception counters and nurse base desks manufactured and installed into new state of the art hospital in the Forest of Dean

JFW Cabinetmakers Ltd is proud to display a recent project, where we delivered high-quality fitted reception counters and nurse base desks for the new Forest Of Dean community hospital. This project was a collaboration with Speller Metcalfe Ltd, the main contractor, and The ONE Creative Environments, the design consultancy.

The hospital is a modern and sustainable facility that provides a range of health and social care services to the local community. The reception counters and nurse base desks are designed to create a welcoming and efficient environment for patients, visitors and staff. They feature durable and attractive materials, such as high quality laminates as well as integrated lighting, power and data sockets.

We worked closely with The ONE Creative Environments to develop their initial design concept and ensure that the furniture fit the space and suited the requirements. We produced detailed drawings for approval and made any necessary adjustments. We then manufactured the furniture in our workshop, using state-of-the-art machinery and skilled craftsmanship. We installed the furniture on site, following strict health and safety protocols and meeting the project deadline.

We also supplied glazed screens to complement the furniture and provide privacy and protection. The screens are made of toughened glass and have a sleek and minimalist appearance.
