We were delighted to work for main contractor EG Carter Ltd and architects Roberts Limbrick on the new entrance building at Safran Landing Systems in Gloucester, delivering bespoke fitted furniture that combined function, style, and innovation.
Working closely with the design team, we manufactured and installed a range of specialist joinery pieces to reflect the forward-thinking nature of the space, all while adhering to the client’s budget and vision.
At the heart of the entrance, we created a striking and functional reception desk, finished in a combination of Egger White, woodgrain and concrete-effect laminates all from Lawcris. This bold centrepiece was further enhanced with LED illumination, installed in-house by our team.
Adjacent to the desk, a feature wall inspired by cloudscapes adds visual impact. Using a mix of Egger Walnut woodgrains and flexible LED tape lighting, the result is a warm, textured focal point that greets visitors when they visit.
A curved slatted feature wall, constructed using ply formers and flexible materials, was then clad in 20 x 20 mm Tulipwood slats. This piece, ready for final on-site decoration, adds depth and flow to the transitional spaces.
For the meeting rooms, we supplied media cabinets in contrasting Egger colours and woodgrains, designed to accommodate TVs and AV systems to support hybrid working and remote conferencing.
To complete the scheme, a bespoke bookcase unit was fitted to an angled wall, a simple yet effective detail making use of a difficult space and finishing the area off nicely.
From concept to completion, every piece was developed in collaboration with the design team and built with precision, passion, and practicality in mind.
