JFW Cabinetmakers Ltd were engaged to design, manufacture and install a bespoke reception counter for Dogs Trust Cardiff Centre, a charity that helps find loving homes for dogs in need.

Dogs Trust Cardiff Centre is a new rehoming centre, with the capacity to care for 1,000 dogs every year. The centre features state-of-the-art facilities, including spacious kennels, a veterinary suite, a training barn, and a hydrotherapy pool.

As part of the project, we were commissioned to create a custom-made reception counter that would welcome visitors and potential adopters to the centre. We worked closely with the Dogs Trust team to understand their requirements and preferences, and to ensure that the counter would reflect their brand identity and values.

We designed the counter using high-quality materials, such as oak veneer, laminate, and acrylic. We incorporated the Dogs Trust logo and colours into the design, as well as some playful paw prints and dog silhouettes. We also added some practical features, such as storage drawers, shelves, and a display area for leaflets and merchandise.

We manufactured the counter in our workshop, using our skilled craftsmanship and attention to detail. We then delivered and installed the counter at the centre, ensuring that it fitted perfectly and met all the specifications.

The result is a stunning reception counter that creates a warm and inviting atmosphere for visitors and staff alike. The counter is also durable and easy to maintain, making it ideal for a busy environment.
