At JFW Cabinetmakers Ltd, we are proud to present one of our latest projects for Blind Veterans, a charity that supports vision-impaired ex-service men and women. We were commissioned to manufacture and install a bespoke library unit for their new centre in Rustington, West Sussex, which offers residential and respite care, rehabilitation and training for blind veterans.
We worked closely with HomeSmiths Ltd, an interior design company that specialises in creating functional and beautiful spaces for the care sector. They designed the furniture with the needs and preferences of the blind veterans in mind.
We produced the library unit with high-quality Egger laminates, which are durable, easy to clean and environmentally friendly. The unit is custom-made to fit the dimensions and layout of the room. We also included LED lights to enhance the visibility and ambiance of the space.
The library unit is part of a larger project that we completed for Blind Veterans, which also involved receptions, café serveries and other furniture items. We are honoured to have contributed to this worthy cause and to have delivered a high standard of craftsmanship and service.
