John F. White Cabinetmakers Ltd is proud to showcase one of our recent projects for Warwick Hospital’s new Cath Lab ward. We were commissioned by South Warwickshire NHS Trust to manufacture and install a nurse base counter that would meet the needs of the staff and patients in this specialised unit.

The nurse base counter is a custom-made piece of furniture that provides four work stations, pigeon holes, mobile drawer units, a privacy screen and a cupboard that can be accessed from the ward side. The counter is designed to maximise the use of space and facilitate the workflow of the nurses and doctors.

We worked closely with the trust and users to choose colours and developed the architects design to create a functional and aesthetically pleasing space. The counter features a sleek and modern design that complements the rest of the ward. The colours are bright and cheerful, creating a positive atmosphere for the patients and staff.
